Kristina Doan

Hello! My name is Kristina and I am a creator and believer.  I am twenty-seven years old and I have lived in Texas my whole life.  I grew up in The Colony, TX, which was a small suburban town.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Music Business and a minor in Business.  I also earned a certificate in European Studies.  Today, I live and work full time in Austin, TX as a Director of Account Partnerships for SalesLabX.  I love the city of Austin! After living here for eight years, I have gained the knowledge and expertise of venues in the area. I am very passionate about helping others.  I have a wide variety of experience in planning and coordinating all different types of events.  I have experience in being part of the team at C3 Presents to host festivals such as ACL and Austin Food and Wine Fest.  In addition, I have planned multiple events for 200 and more people.  My skill set is very strong in organization, communication, management, and coordination. I enjoy the process of putting on an event and the different challenges some can present.  I am confident that my experience and expertise can help you avoid the stereotypical stress that comes with planning big events.  I love to put a smile on people’s faces, and see unforgettable memories come to life! Jessica Tran

Hi! I’m the co-owner of Spark Special Events. I am twenty-seven years old and have lived in Texas my whole life as well. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2016 with a BSA in Biology and a minor in Business. I am a self-proclaimed nerd and geek with all sorts of interests. Those include: Disney, Superheroes, Anime, and much more. I also love to DIY. Today, I’m living in Dallas and working full-time as an Educator for the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Whenever I have the opportunity, I love to travel, so I have been all over the States and to multiple countries. Because of that, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and insights on many events that have occurred and that I have personally attended. My skills lie in creative intelligence, management, organization, and coordination. I have hosted multiple events for 200 and more people, but also private parties for 100 and less. I have also planned and organized two private weddings. Understanding the process, stress, and time it takes to put together any sorts of events, my goal is to help you get through all of that without feeling the pressure.
