Rebecca & Ryan Million's Wedding

December 15th, 2018

Wedding number two for 2018! It was a pleasure to help Rebecca and Ryan on their special day! The location was held at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, Texas. It was a beautiful setting for Rebecca and Ryan. The ceremony started after sunset and was positioned in the center of the courtyard. After the ceremony, the happy couple joined their guests for some drinks and light food at a short cocktail. Then the celebration moved indoors in the LBJ Wildflower Center’s reception hall. Here is the list of vendors that were hired for the event:

  • Photographer: Hyde Park Photography

  • Caterers: Pink Avocado

  • Flowers: Bouquets of Austin

  • Cake: Mandolas Bakery

  • Music: Texas Pro DJ

  • Stylist: Liz Whittington

It was a wonderful and beautiful celebration! We are so happy and honored to have been chosen by Rebecca and Ryan to be their event coordinators. We look forward to our next wedding and events for 2019!

Tears of joy, laughter and countless emotions

– that’s what weddings are made of. A wedding is not just about a couple getting married.

Sam & Cole's Wedding

Thursday May 3, 2018

At ten thirty o'clock on a humid cloudy morning, I was able to witness a beautiful marriage between two people who deeply love each other.  This family is strong and the love for one another is radiant. I remember the first time I saw Sam and Cole together and thinking romance is not dead.  Both of them are wonderful coworkers, so when they asked if I could help with some of the preparations for their elope and to take photos of the big day, I was over joyed!

Love&Family

“A great marriage is not when the ‘perfect couple’ comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.”
– Dave Meurer

The court house was empty just for this wedding.  There were no bystanders.  Only the bride, groom, and their family.  Keeping it to an intimate circle for the audience.  The judge who performed the ceremony had a great personality and charisma.  He kept things light and threw in a few good jokes along the way.  Sam's dress was a lovely off white lace and had a stunning open back.  Cole wore a dark navy suit with matching slacks.  Both outfits fitting one another's personality and taste.  The judge kept the speeches short and sweet. Once "I Do's" were said and marriage sealed with a kiss, we moved things outside to take family photos.  It was a short and beautiful wedding, which worked best for two busy adults.

Overall, an elope is straight forward and easy.  The choice to do a city court elope is time and money saving.  Not only are those great benefits, but it can be a great option for couples who prefer to use their savings on having a great honeymoon instead.  This is a great example of how you can make a small wedding work for your needs rather than trying to fit your life around a wedding. I am very happy and excited for this beautiful couple! I wish Sam and Cole more happy days filled with love and eternal happiness! Congratulations!
